1. Scope
This page supplements the Terms of Service. It does not provide legal advice or determine whether a particular work or use is protected, licensed, public domain, or permitted by an exception to copyright law.
2. PreacherDesk Materials
The PreacherDesk software, interface, design, branding, icons, documentation, original public-site text, and service-owned templates belong to PreacherDesk or its licensors.
A subscription gives you a limited right to use those materials within the service. It does not permit copying, reselling, sublicensing, republishing, or distributing protected parts of the service except as expressly allowed in writing or by law.
3. Your Sermons and Materials
You retain the rights you already hold in sermons, notes, outlines, prayers, teaching materials, ministry information, and other content you provide. You grant PreacherDesk only the limited permission described in the Terms of Service to process that content for operating and supporting the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to upload, quote, adapt, reproduce, or distribute content belonging to another person or organization.
4. Generated Materials
To the extent permitted by law, PreacherDesk does not claim ownership of sermon materials and exports generated specifically for your account from your instructions and content.
Copyright protection for generated material can depend on human authorship, selection, arrangement, revision, and the law of the applicable jurisdiction. PreacherDesk does not guarantee that a generated passage is copyrightable, exclusive, or free from similarity to material produced for another user.
Review and revise generated content before publication or distribution. Do not assume that generated text establishes ownership of underlying quotations, Scripture, images, music, or other third-party material.
5. Scripture and Bible Translations
Bible translations may be copyrighted, licensed, or subject to quotation and attribution rules established by their publishers. Translation names, abbreviations, and quotation limits vary by publisher.
Selecting or typing the name of a preferred Bible translation in PreacherDesk does not grant access to that translation, create a license, or authorize use beyond the rights provided by the copyright owner or applicable law.
Before preaching, publishing, streaming, printing, selling, or distributing material, verify Scripture wording, attribution, quotation limits, and required permissions with the applicable publisher or rights holder.
6. Commentaries, Quotations, Images, and Other Resources
Commentaries, books, articles, quotations, illustrations, images, music, videos, fonts, and other third-party resources remain subject to their own copyrights and licenses. A reference, summary, link, or mention in PreacherDesk does not transfer those rights.
When a resource carries specific license or attribution terms, those terms control its use. Whether an exception such as fair use applies depends on the facts and applicable law.
7. Word, PDF, and PowerPoint Exports
Exporting material does not change its ownership or licensing status. You are responsible for reviewing exported documents and slides and for obtaining any permissions needed for public display, livestreaming, recording, printing, sale, or redistribution.
Retain citations and attribution where required. Replace or remove material that you are not authorized to use.
8. Reporting a Copyright Concern
If you believe content made available through PreacherDesk infringes your copyright, submit a detailed notice through Contact & Support. Include your contact information, identification of the protected work, the location of the material at issue, the basis of your claim, and a statement that the information supplied is accurate.
PreacherDesk may request additional information, restrict access to disputed material, or take other appropriate action while reviewing a report.
9. Questions
Licensing questions about PreacherDesk-owned material may be submitted through the PreacherDesk Contact & Support page. For third-party works, contact the applicable publisher or rights holder.
